The Starbucks Frenzy
If you are following me on my personal account on instagram, you would have noticed “The Starbucks Frenzy” (If that makes any sense). Anyhow, I am not a starbucks addict, I just love to doodle and play with the cup holders. I created one cup holder with yarn and BAM it is a hit. I was at the living room and since both mom and sister do the knitting thing, I stole some yarn and glued it directly to the cup holder.

The next day, everyone I knew thought I bought them or something and then everyone requested one. Thats when the “Starbucks Frenzy” started a few months ago. The one above was made yesterday for my cousin for christmas since she loves this season and its her christmas favorite color. I added the lights and snapped a photo and to instagram it goes. I think I am going to post more of the starbucks doodle/art.

If you we’re under a rock for the past day or so then you definitely missed this on Instagram! Finally Magnolia Bakery is going to open next week! I honestly cannot wait for the opening since I’m a huge fan of their Dubai branch! Red velvet cupcakes and the cookies are pretty good, guess we have to wait till the 19th for the opening.

Who’s going to attend? Forgot… ALL OF KUWAIT!

Hey everyone! I’m going to start fashion posts on this blog to inspire you with some ideas. For now I’ll start with (OOTD) -Outfit of the day.

Knitted sweaters are winter MUST HAVES! they’re just so warm and cozy. For this dark colored sweater, We decided to pair it up with white colored jeggings. Any light colored jeans or leggings will definitely give the outfit a little pop. Since the jeggings are plain white we decided to add a pop of color to the outfit by wearing the pink hunter boots. For accessories, we only add a golden chain necklace to finish the outfit.

PLT is celebrating there first anniversary at Alsalheya the last 3 days. I Know that I am late with this post but…. OK I do not have an excuse. The first thing you notice is the bazaar feel to the event. The lights, atmosphere and the space. The lights idea is brilliant!


I didn’t take photos of all the participants since the place was crowded and it was hard to get great photos at night. Here is one of my favorites, Haraka, A bahraini watch brand! The watches are impecable!

Oh Hello December, winter. If you know me in person you would know that I am NOT a winter person (I only love the sky) but I am summer person, I need the sun!
I know that I promised to continue to post and I will keep this promise, but everyone knows that december is the busiest month of the year. Exams and many other things, I am waiting for something that is happening tomorrow (The 4th) and it will decide my future, I have this feeling that I want it and I don’t want it at the same time, it’s weird I know, especially when its deciding my future. But, I will take anything that comes.

Gallery Tilal is currently hosting Bejeweled II. Bejeweled II is all about jewelry and everything creative in that specific area. We are going to focus on the Yadawi Collective. They featured the most interesting, creative and the most ambitious designs and pieces.
The photo above are pieces of unique clay work, they look incredible and the details are simply magnificent, the colors, the texture and the designs are impeccable.

This piece above is inspired by Beads Art Asylum visit to Tehran, isn’t it remarkable. One of my favorite pieces. You might be wondering what are they used for, well they can be used for anything. it could be viewed as a art or you could use them to create masterpieces or simply it could be used to create jewelry.

The beads are remarkable, and I never thought of the time put to create these pieces. Some of the simplest pieces you can see took 2 days! I never thought of beading to be that hard and time consuming.

I asked if I can snap a photo while they are working in the gallery (I find it unique that they are working in the gallery and in front of everyone creating incredible pieces of art).

Lubna, from the Yadawi Collective created these earrings. She loves recycling so the idea was to take a regular coke bottle cap and turn it into a masterpiece. Isn’t this creative?

The Bejeweled II expo is located at Gallery Tilal in Shuwaikh.
Started yesterday the 26th and it will continue till the 28th of this month.

Hala Turkey Expo @halaexpo

Am I posting about expo’s a lot these days? Anyhow, As you might know that the Hala Expo is back with the Hala Turkey Expo in 360 mall. The expo started today and it will end in 3 days.
We went to the expo at about 8pm and it was pretty crowded, the expo is good, but for some reason I expected the place would turn like Grand Bazaar. And another weird thing is the Kuwaiti participants, isn’t this a Turkish expo? But who cares, I loved pieces by Farah and November! impressive. I should stop taking right now and continue the post (Garga, I know).
